Gathering Life Stories of Residents in Assisted Living Facilities
We want to help families with loved ones in assisted living facilities build a unique memorial for their loved one, which includes life stories in their own voice.
The Living Legacy Project works best when introduced to families by assisted living facilities. The facilities know their residents activity schedules, and can provide ideal recording comfort.
How it Works
1. The Family of Your Resident Chooses a Memorial Video Plan with Story Gathering
When a family selects a video memorial which includes gathering of life stories, your facility will receive an introduction email with instructions and access to a shared drive for you to upload recordings.
2. The Facility Adds Story Gathering Sessions to the Residents Activity Schedule
When a family selects a video memorial which includes gathering of life stories, your facility will receive an introduction email with instructions and access to a shared drive for you to upload recordings.
3. We Handle the Rest, and Give Back to the Facility
We share the full story recordings you upload with the residents family, and use select clips within their video memorial.
In an effort to make assisted living the best it can be, when a package is purchased and video finalized, 10% of the package chosen, and 50% of monthly story gathering fees, are returned to the facility. An email will be sent to your facility with details at the time of signup.

We love when facilities introduce us to the families of their residents, as the facility staff play a vital role in the project, and they provide a comfortable storytelling environment.
