Memory Preservation for Families
Preserve your loved one’s story while they're being cared for in an assisted living facility.
How it Works
1. Choose Your Legacy Plan
You select the memorial video length that feels right for your family — a 5, 15, or 30-minute Legacy Film. Once you enroll, we set up your secure family portal and confirm your loved one’s details.
2. We Coordinate With the Facility
Our team reaches out directly to your loved one’s long-term care facility to introduce the Living Legacy Project and integrate memory preservation sessions into their activity schedule. These sessions are treated like a gentle, recurring activity rather than a one-time event.
3. Ongoing Memory Preservation Sessions
The facility meets with your loved one on a regular basis to record calm, guided conversations. Submit story requests of the memories you would like to hear about the most! We work with their schedule to make sure they're feeling their best when it's time to tell their stories.
4. You Send Us Photos & Home Videos
While we’re recording these sessions, we invite your family to upload photos, home videos, and audio recordings through your portal. These materials help us visually enrich the final memorial video so it feels deeply personal.

5. We Craft & Deliver the Memorial Video
Our editors weave together your loved one’s recorded stories with the photos and videos you’ve shared, adding gentle music and titles. When it’s ready, you receive a polished memorial film and a private link you can download and share with family.

Why Families Choose the Living Legacy Project
Assisted living no longer feels like a disconnection. Your family receives ongoing audio/video updates with stories from their loved one, in their own words.
The memorial video becomes part of your family history — something children, grandchildren, and future generations will cherish.
Unlike typical legacy services, we gather stories directly from your loved one, creating a final, loving tribute unlike any other.
