Add the Program Your Members Will Talk About for Months.

The Living Legacy Project partners with senior centers and recreation programs to offer guided life-story sessions as a programming option. A meaningful, personal activity that families and members love, at no cost to your organization.

A guided story session at a senior center

Your members want meaningful experiences. Story sessions deliver.

Activity programming at senior centers is often excellent, but adding something as deeply personal as a guided life-story session is in a different category. It's something members remember, talk about, and bring their families into.

Your job is to offer programming that keeps members engaged and coming back. A legacy story program does that while giving your center something to genuinely stand out with.

Members are already thinking about legacy. Many seniors in their 70s and 80s want to do something with their stories. They just don't have a clear path to start.
Families ask what your center offers. A story preservation program is a compelling answer, one that demonstrates your center's depth of programming.
Revenue share with zero operational lift. We build and run the program. You share a link and earn a revenue share for every member family that enrolls.

A Program Worth Adding to Your Calendar

Deeply Meaningful Activity

Life-story sessions are unlike any other activity on your calendar. Members engage at a depth that sparks months of follow-up conversations, with you, with family, and with other members.

Revenue Share for Your Center

Your center earns a revenue share for each member family enrolled through your referral link. Automatic, no paperwork, paid directly to your organization.

Differentiates Your Programming

Most senior centers offer fitness, crafts, and day trips. A story preservation program adds something with genuine emotional weight, the kind that people tell others about.

Brings Families In

When a member's family sees the archive growing, your center becomes part of the family's experience, not just the member's.

Zero Staff Burden

We manage all scheduling, coordination, and logistics. Your activities team does nothing beyond an introduction. Sessions can happen at your location or anywhere your member prefers.

Privacy Protected

Full written consent before any session begins. Member stories stay in a private family archive, never published or shared without explicit permission.

How the Senior Center Partnership Works

1

Introduction Call

A 20-minute call with your program director or activities coordinator. We cover the program, partnership structure, revenue share, and how we'd introduce it to your members.

2

Partnership Agreement

A simple two-page agreement. No exclusivity. No minimum enrollment commitment. No financial risk to your center.

3

Optional: Member Introduction Event

We can attend one of your regular gatherings to introduce the program directly to members and answer questions. This typically increases initial enrollment significantly.

4

Your Center Gets a Referral Link

We build a dedicated page for your center. Share it in your newsletter, on your website, or on a flyer at the front desk. Enrollments are tracked automatically.

5

Sessions Happen. Revenue Comes In.

Sessions are conducted at your location, at the member's home, or via video. Your center earns a revenue share for each enrolled family, paid directly with no invoicing required.

Senior Center Partnership FAQs

No. We go wherever the storyteller is most comfortable: your location, their home, or anywhere else that works. All sessions are conducted in person. Most senior center partners offer sessions at their facility as a starting point, but it's not required.
However works best for your organization. A mention in your newsletter, a flyer at the front desk, a slide during your next event, or a dedicated info session with one of our team members. We can support any of these approaches.
Families pay directly to The Living Legacy Project at standard subscription pricing. If affordability is a concern for a specific member, reach out to us directly and we'll see what we can do. <!-- [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm sliding scale or scholarship policy] -->
Yes. We're happy to conduct a live demo or sample listening event at your center so members can hear what a session sounds like before committing. This tends to significantly increase enrollment.
No minimum. You earn a revenue share for each enrolled family, starting with the first one. Even a handful of members makes the program worth running.
Very little. Beyond making an initial introduction to your members, your team's involvement ends there. We handle all scheduling, coordination, and communication with enrolled families directly.
